As a result this book has found a place in my collection of obscure ancient authors (or writings).
This is no great piece of literature. It is an account of Arrian's tour of the Black S|About the Author||Aidan Liddle read Classics at Oxford and now works as a civil servant at the Department of Trade and Industry.
This volume contains the Greek text "Periplus Ponti Euxini", with a full introduction, commentary and facing-page translation.
