Rather, I would instead urge everyone to avoid the Slavitt & Bovie translations specifically. Examples of the excessive liberties that they have taken with other Attic dramas include inserting puns and one line| ||"Directness, vivid imagery, and rhetorical music prevail."—San Francisco Chronicle
